Swimwear sells in the sun. What if you can't fly there?

Fragola Bikinis had its product photos and a summer to sell. We created two original AI models and placed the collection on a sunlit terrace, at a beach club and in a bedroom, without booking a single location shoot.

The challenge: summer content without the summer

Customers want to see swimwear on a body, in the light, with every tie and cut visible. Each new collection needs that content again.

Fragola needed two kinds of it. Campaign imagery that feels like a holiday, and social content that feels like it was shot on a phone. Creating both styles through conventional production could require different locations, talent, styling and scheduling. We needed a way to produce them from the product photography Fragola already had.

Our approach

  1. 1 of 4

    Cast the faces first.

Before generating a single bikini, we created two original AI models. A campaign face with sharp, editorial features for the terrace and the beach club, and a softer girl next door for the phone-style content. Fixing both faces first kept them recognisable in every image and clip.

Take each set where it belongs.

The coral set went to a sunlit white terrace with palm shadows. The sequin set went to a lakeside beach club with orange umbrellas and mountains across the water. Fragola's own product photos guided every set, and the imagery was checked against them.

Shoot the feed like a phone.

Social content got its own brief. A morning in a bedroom, a phone in the mirror, natural light and an unmade bed. The pink set appeared across one imagined morning, in mirror selfies and small movements, all with the same character.

Bring the best stills to life.

Instead of generating new scenes for video, we added small movements to images that already worked. A hand on a tie, a turn of the head. The clips were made for Reels and Stories without leaving the campaign's look.

The result: a summer content library from product photos

What started as product photography became a coordinated library of 28 campaign and social stills and 11 short video clips, spanning three summer environments and two consistent AI models.

Fragola published the content across its own channels, using it for campaign imagery, social posts, Reels and Stories, all without traditional casting or location shoots.

The bikinis never travelled. They still saw three summers.

AI fashion photography FAQ

the short answers.

  • No. The campaign features two original AI-generated models created by close friends., not people photographed on a shoot. One was developed for editorial campaign imagery on a terrace and at a beach club, and the other for casual, phone-style social content, so each look had its own recognisable face.

  • Yes, with careful creative direction and consistency checks. AI-generated characters can vary between scenes, particularly when lighting, angles and movement change. For Fragola Bikinis, close friends. maintained two recognisable model identities across 28 stills and 11 short video clips in three different summer settings.

  • Product photos guide the result, but they don't guarantee it. Cuts, ties, colours and prints can change when a model moves, so every image needs checking. For Fragola Bikinis, the imagery was reviewed against the brand's original product photographs, with particular attention to ties and fabric details.

  • No. AI can create content in the casual style of social media, with phone framing and natural imperfections, but it isn't real user content. Fragola's mirror series was made for the brand's own channels and should never be presented as genuine customer photos, reviews or testimonials. Transparency protects the brand.
